Flying Tiger Copenhagen

Christmas is coming! This year it is very different for me because it will be my first Christmas far away from my friends and my family.

Never mind! This year thanks to the enthusiasm of Nawres one of the ESC Volunteer and the Flying Tiger Copenhagen store I get excited too 😊!

If you are like me and Christmas is a brainteaser because you do not have ideas for gifts, Flying Tiger Copenhagen is the place to go. I went to the one located in Nicosia today. 2 floors with all kind of stuff: notebooks, pencils, mugs, games… It is mind-blowing.

Plus, it is cheaper and original. I really like this store!! They are a variety retail concept with 990 stores across 3 continents and 30 countries.

A little anecdote: the first store called Tiger opened in Copenhagen in 1995, and everything in it cost 10 Danish kroner. The Danish word for a ten-kroner coin is pronounced tee’-yuh, which sounds just like the Danish word for tiger.
