Ayia Napa during off season

We visited Ayia Napa back in December. It is located in the eastern part of Cyprus, approximately one hour drive from Nicosia.
The weather was exceptionally beautiful and we sipped local wine on the beach, ate cookies and quietly observed the tourists taking long walks on the shore.
Then we decided to take a long walk to the center. There were only a few people on the streets, as December is completely outside of the tourist season.
A little information about the city:
- Ayia Napa has a reputation as the party capital of Cyprus. The third-largest of the Mediterranean islands, Cyprus lies deep in the southernmost corner of Europe, past Greece and close to the coasts of Turkey, Syria and the Lebanon;
- Full of cats – as everywhere in Cyprus, basically;
- Lots of clubs and bars. Only a few were open though. Not even the ATMs work as the tourist season is from April to October.
- There are lots of boat cruises and tours.
