Arrivals and Departures

In three days it makes already two months that I am here living in this beautiful Island with such amazing things to remind me later when I leave and in this time not only places like museums,beaches,coffee shops and the food will mark me but also a lot of speacial people too.

In this EVS we are currently ten people with different cultures, points of view and traits of personallity but I really love each one of them for who they are and how their friendship with me has been built in a deeper level each day. We really are a family. The EVS family that I adore very much. Even my mentors and coordinators from EVS have a special place in my heart.

Unfortunately most of them will leave in less than two months and even though it’s good to not be stuck in one place forever,i wish I had more time with them. It will be a bittersweet feeling for all of us, because we have different lives and each one of us needs to live it but for sure we will always remember the common one we shared in these months. I hope the best for them and I hope I will see them again in my time here in this world.

I will continue to be here and finish my EVS and while a few will leave, new ones will come and I’m sure that I will be also happy and feel good with them and try to that to them on the maximum.

It’s always good to meet new ones because every person has its kind so it’s always a special and unique adventure to know someone. I am very open for it.

Also,throughout this experience I’m meeting new people every week with different backgrounds and touching stories and not only my lovely EVS team but a lot of cypriots or people that are also living some kind of experience here in Cyprus.

I am never bored here, neither with what to do, neither with whom.

It’s a pleasure to have everyday like it’s a new one and a beggining of something unknown.

I’ve met people from my age to older ages and everyone has something to give and teach me.

I think one of the main important things here in this experience is that… to be so receptive about everyone and consequently with yourself.

I have met people that are working here, wether it’s a bookshop, a coffee shop or a bar. I have met people studying or travelling through the world. I have met people that are doing amazing things for the community. I have met people that are leaving here and are coming here. Buy one thing I’m sure, I will never forget anyone from here.
