CYPRUS IS FUEGO

I arrived in Cyprus 3 weeks ago without imagining what I would find but the real adventures are always like this right? We always go a little “in the dark”.

As soon as I landed I realized that the title of the cyprus song in this year’s Eurovision makes perfect sense because “FUEGO” is the word that best describes this island. Sun and warmth are two of the key words of this wonderful place.

It has been a very intense experience, I met many people from different nationalities, I did the EVS arrival training which was a fantastic opportunity to make friends and to be more lucid about the whole concept of the EVS program.

After the Arrival training, it’s time get down to work. Creating events, making radio shows, discovering Nicosia and sharing everything with you on this Blog are some of the tasks I will do daily during my stay in Cyprus.

Three weeks were enough to fall in love with this island, for the people who live here for their simplicity and sympathy. Being a beach lover I could not have chosen a better destination than this wonderful island because sea and heat is not lacking here!

Cyprus may be small but I’ve always heard that the best things come in small packages and so far Cyprus has been the perfect example of that!

Let’s see what Cyprus holds for me the next few months, so far I have only to say Σας ευχαριστώ Cyprus!
