Black is Beautiful

Hello world! How are you doing?

Each year in France there is a beauty contest called Miss France. The aim is very simple, the young lady elected will be the representant of France for one year in several beauty pageant and other occasions.

Last Saturday Miss Guadeloupe Clemence BOTINO won this contest. Unfortunately, it seems that since her election there is a lot of racist words against her.

In 2019, it is a shame that racism stills an issue for a lot of persons. I have the feelings than we are declining more and more! Unluckily black is not a word linked with beautiful things. In French, in most of the expressions we used that word for negatives meanings.  

Therefore, it is time to say that Black is beautiful!! You are not defined by a skin colour! Each human being has a brain, a heart, lunges… We have the same biological functions! I stand up for Human Rights and I want to believe in the first article of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which said:

“All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.”

Do not forget Dr Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela! These great men stood up for Human Rights and did not give up the fight! Once a majority will understand that racism do not lead you anywhere the world will be a better place!
