ATHALASSA AVENUE

Welcome Back people !

Today I’ve decided to explore an avenue of strovolos called Athalassas!

Did you know that Strovolos was named after a Greek word strovilos (Στρόβιλος) which means twister?

Well, it is always interesting to dig into the history of a city. I appreciate the fact that here in Cyprus and most precisely in Nicosia you can see and learn a lot about the people who used to live here before us.

Today I’ve chosen this avenue because I wanted to see a bio restaurant called Green Food Fresh & bio! I’ve found it but it did not blow my mind so instead I went into a bio store where I’ve found my happiness! What is my happiness? Tea, I love tea. Usually in my island I drink a gallon of water per day here it is more complicated, and I have seen the effect on my hands. Because of the weather it is like I have been burnt by fire. Until today I will drink more water and taste Cypriot’s honey! *

You should know that honey is very good for your health. Indeed, it is made of Fructose and Glucose and it has this ability to reinforce your immunity. It can also heal your cold and for the skin it is excellent for hydration.
