Septemberfest – Nicosia Beer Fun Festival 2018

Last Friday I decided to go to the biggest beer festival in Cyprus! Septemberfest has been established as an annual event and is the largest Beer Festival in Cyprus.

The formal supporters of this Festival were the Aglantzia Municipality Youth Councils, the Municipality of Strovolos, the Municipality of Latsia, the Municipality of Lakatamia, the Municipality of Engomi, the Municipality of Geri and the Municipality of Idalion.

The day I went Stelios Rokkos performance. To be honest although I do not understand the lyrics of the songs I really liked his performance. The songs were cheerful and  good for dancing. The artist also made some adaptations and presented songs that are not Greek such as “Bella Ciao”.

The entrance was 5 euros and in the the festival we could find all kinds of beer from various corners of the world. With 3 euros we could choose any one and off course food also did not lack!

The event took place in Parko Akadhmias Larnakos Avenue, 2100 Nicosia.

It is important to mention that the message of this year’s Festival to Youth remains stable and is: not for drugs; not to alcoholism; not to juvenile delinquency; not to violence in the stadiums and yes to LIFE.
