My reading list: Men are from Mars, women are from Venus

Every morning I prefer to start my day by sitting on balcony, drinking my coffee and reading a book. All books have their own beauty, but some of them are “hard ” to read because you have to make an analysis on it and sometimes even some research over critics opinions. But to start the day it is really nice to read an “easy” book. This is why I prefer to read books written in a funny way.

This time I would like to present you Men are from Mars, women are from Venus, written by the American author John Gray. He is an expert in the psychology field because he took courses and earned degrees in it. The book presents the most common problems in any relationships. The problems are being seemed like a result of the differences between men and women, which explains the author’s metaphor that men and women come from different planets. Basically, each one is associated with the characteristics of the planets : Mars for men and Venus for women.

Men are from Mars, women are from Venus it is a funny book and contains different situations and complaints. For example, men complain over the fact that women are not interested when men come with solutions for the problems that women bring up in the conversations and this is because women don’t want it necessarily to solve the problems, but more to talk about them.

Normally, it should exist a balance, but the moment the balance shifts, the feeling of resentment starts playing an important role. The only solution it would be communication in order to bring back the balance in the relationships. The author puts in evidence the different way men and women receive love. From his point of view, women use a points system that just a few men know about or can understand it.

The book had a bis success, being on the bestseller list for 21 weeks and the copies that had been sold are more than 50 million. The book it is written in a funny style that will bring at least a smile on your face and it will make your day much better.
